Portland, ore. – Police in Oregon said Thursday that they are working with the FBI to investigate shots fired in a Tesla dealership during the night in the last instance of vandalism in one of the company’s retail stores.
No one was injured in the shooting in the city of Tigard on the outskirts of Portland. The surveillance video indicated that the shots were fired around 1:46 am when the building was not occupied.
The researchers believe that at least seven shots were shot, damaging three cars and breaking windows, said Tigard police in a statement. A bullet crossed an office wall and entered a computer monitor. Tigard is about 10 miles (16 kilometers) southwest Portland.
The Tigard Police said they were working with federal partners, including the FBI and the Office of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives, to guarantee “an exhaustive and wide range investigation.” The police did not have a description of a suspect.
