Manchester, England – The former World Heavyweight Boxing Champion Tyson Fury and former Manchester United Wayne Rooney forward will train a England team composed of athletes and celebrities for the help of football 2025 in Old Trafford.
UNICEF says that the Charity party that faces England against an XI world will take place on June 15 at the HOME Stadium in United.
The former players of England, Jill Scott and Steph Houghton, Louis Tomlinson de One Direction, singer Tom Grennan, the great Olympic Mo Farah, former goalkeeper of England Joe Hart and former Italy defender Leonardo Bonucci are among those who have confirmed their commitment to the event created by the pop star Robbie Williams in 2006.
For former United Gary Neville and Paul Scholes players will also return to Old Trafford together with former England International Rooney, who will assume a role as players manager.
UNICEF says it has raised more than £ 106 million ($ 137 million) for children around the world from the first game. The money raised helps him to offer crucial programs that provide food, medical care, safe spaces and crisis support for needy young people.
“The possibility of taking my team from England to victory this June fills me with as much emotion as any heavyweight fight,” Fury said. “Everyone knows that I am also a big fan of Manchester United, so it is even more special for me that the game is in Old Trafford this year, and I can drive one of my heroes, Wayne Rooney.”
