President Donald Trump celebrates the first meeting of the cabinet of his second term on Wednesday.
Joining the group will be Elon Musk, the main advisor of the Government’s efficiency department whose high status within the administration has caused some confusion and judicial challenges.
“All cabinet members are extremely happy with Elon. The media will see it at the cabinet meeting this morning!” Trump wrote on his social networks on Wednesday morning.
The White House Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, confirmed that Musk would be present during Tuesday’s informative session.
“Taking into account that he is working together with the president and our cabinet secretaries, this entire administration will be present tomorrow to talk about Doge’s efforts and how all the cabinet secretaries are identifying waste, fraud and abuse in their respective agencies,” Leavitt said to journalists.
The meeting will take place amid Doge’s effort to implement mass workforce cuts. The mixed signals come from Musk and the administration after an ultimatum directed by musk to federal workers to essentially demonstrate their value through email or facial termination.

Leavitt said Tuesday that Trump was postponing to the secretaries of the Cabinet to promulgate the Office of Personnel and Management Orientation, but said that the administration was unified on the subject.
“Let me be very clear, the president and Elon, and all his cabinet, are working as a unified team and are implementing these solutions of very common meaning,” Leavitt said.
When Musk published last weekend that all federal employees would soon receive an email that demanded details of their work since last week, the senior White House officials were initially offended, multiple sources told ABC News.
He also created tension between Trump’s cabinet members, since multiple agency leaders told his employees not to respond until they were informed about the situation.
The Senate has confirmed to Trump’s nominees at a fast pace, approving 18 people to date. In comparison, at this point of 2021, the Senate led by the Democrat had only confirmed 10 of the Cabinet nominees of former President Joe Biden.
The rapid pace occurs despite the fact that some of Trump’s teams are considered controversial options to lead their respective agencies.
The Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegesh, a veteran and host of Fox News, surpassed several accusations of misconduct that will be confirmed after vice president JD Vance cast the draw vote. The Secretary of Health Robert F. Kennedy Jr., under criticism for his previous antivacamic views, was confirmed by little in a 52-48 vote as director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.
When Trump first celebrated in the public court with his cabinet in 2017, during his first presidency, the members gave him praise.
One by one, the members thanked Trump and congratulated their leadership for several minutes in front of the journalists before the meeting changed behind closed doors. “Thank you, Mr. President. This is the greatest privilege of my life,” said Vice President Mike Pence as things began.

The Senate Democratic leader, Chuck Schumer, made fun of the administration with a parody video recreating the scene with his own staff.
Trump said Tuesday that his first administration had some “great people”, but that he believes that this bank is “deeper.” Trump has said that the greatest error of his first mandate was to install “unfair people.”
“I think it’s better,” he said about this cabinet. “I had some people who really didn’t like my cabinet so much. But I didn’t know that Washington was then a person in New York.”
