Washington – President Donald Trump said Monday that he would carry out a 25% tariff over all imports from any country that bought oil or gas from Venezuela, as well as imposing new tariffs on the South American country.
In a real social position, Trump said that Venezuela has been “very hostile” for the United States and that countries that buy oil will be forced to pay the rate of all their trade to the United States as of April 2.
Venezuela will face a “secondary” rate because it is home to the train gang of Aragua, he said. The Trump administration deportes immigrants who states that they are members of that gang that illegally crossed the United States.
Trump said that its publication on social networks would serve as notification of this policy to the Department of National Security and other law enforcement agencies.
