President Donald Trump is celebrating an educational event in the East Hall of the White House. The children sat in desks with Trump while talking, with officials such as the Secretary of Education Linda McMahon at the audience.
“In a few moments, I will sign an executive order to start eliminating the Federal Education Department once and for all,” Trump said. “And it sounds strange, right? Department of Education. We are going to eliminate it.”

He also took a moment to present McMahon, who said it was “extraordinary.”
“Hopefully she is our last secretary of Education,” he said.
