Denver – Colorado rockies are reluctant to label as a reconstruction team, but after Saturday night it could be more precise to say that they are implio.
Colorado hit the rock background so far in a season that has come south from the beginning, Lose 21-0 against San Diego’s parents. It was the eighth consecutive defeat of the rockies and is 6-33, the worst beginning of 39 games from the 1988 Baltimore Orioles opened with the same record.
Things got out of control on Saturday at Coors Field that Manager Bud Black used the Jacob Stallings receiver to launch the last two tickets, and proved to be one of the most effective arms of the team all night.

Before the game, the general manager of the Rockies, Bill Schmidt, supported Black saying: “Buddy is doing a good job at this time. They are appearing to work and play with effort.”
The rockies lost 8-6 in 10 tickets to the leaders of the leaders of the to Wednesday. The next day, Detroit dropped a double game for a combined score of 21-3.
“We have shown that we can play with some teams. We have made some little mistakes,” said Schmidt. “We have not been offensively productive. That is probably one of my biggest disappointments.”
The Tigres and San Diego have contributed to that disparity by scoring two-digit races in each game in this farm and overcoming the 63-18 rockies. Colorado has given six or more races in each of its last seven games.
“We have been happening as a team, and it’s not fun,” Stallings said. “We have been talking about that as a group, trying to have more fun. Obviously, it is not easy when you are depressed so much.”
The lack of solid defense (Colorado has made 10 mistakes in the last five games) is magnified when the offensive is absent. The parents’ starter, Stephen Kolek, launched a five -hits bleached in its second start of the major leagues in a notoriously difficult place for the pitchers.
His teammates kept him on the bank for long sections while placing crooked numbers on the plate, so he had to go to the tunnel and throw heating fields.
“Every time they were presenting five to eight races, it tends to cool a little in the shelter, so you should warm up again,” he said.
The San Diego Elias Díaz receiver, who played more than four seasons for the rockies before being treated to the parents last season, said his heart is with his former team.
“Oh yes, 100%,” he said. “I played here for five years and there is a lot of emotion. But it’s baseball; we have a job to do.”
