Wenatchee, Washington – A man died in the state of Washington on Sunday when he was parachute and hit a cliff after his ramp did not open completely.
The Sheriff’s Office of the Chelan County said that Entiatton’s 47 -year -old man died during a base jump accident on Sunday morning in the central part of the state.
Base jump is a high -risk activity which implies parachutism of fixed objects such as cliffs, bridges or buildings.
The victim was in the process of jumping when her parachute could not open, said the Sheriff’s office. The witnesses said it turned and collided with a rock wall. It fell about 650 feet (200 meters) to the ground and suffered fatal injuries. The man was declared dead on the scene.
A man died last year at Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona after trying a high -risk base jump from a place known as Yavapai Point.
