New York – Jasen Green and Jamiya Neal scored 19 points in Creighton’s second victory for 71-62 over UConn No. 3-Sember Friday at the semifinals of the Big East Conference Tournament.

Creighton, sown number 2, will face St. John’s in Saturday’s championship game.

Creighton took the lead with remaining 5:35 in the first half and never looked back. Green led his team to score with 15 points in the first half to help put them ahead 46-35 at the break. Uconn surpassed Creighton in the second half for two points, with Kalkbrenner scoring a maximum of a team eight points after the break.
