Jaipur, India – The 14 -year -old batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi reached an impressive century in the Premier League India and one of the best entries in the history of the Twenty20 Cricket of men on Monday.
Only nine days after becoming the youngest debutant in the IPL, Suryavanshi again flew to the observers with a century in their third game and, to start, the second fastest in the 18 years of the tournament.
He reached only 35 balls pulling the Gujarat Titans Rashid Khan spinner for a six on Midwickt, and sending the local crowd of the Rajasthan in Jaipur at his feet once more.
Of the 100 races, an incredible 94 left the limits. He hit 11 six and seven limits.
“It feels really good,” Suryavanshi said. “It’s like a dream to write down a century in the IPL. What I have been practicing during the last three, four months, the result is shown.”
He came out three balls later for 101, losing a Yorker.
But the inauguration of 166 races between him and Yashavi Jaiswal, 70 not out of 40 balls, promoted Rajasthan to a remarkable summary of the imposing 209-4 of Gujarat with 25 balls left over.
Rajasthan made 212-2, winning only for the third time in 10 games to stay in the playoff dispute.
Suryavanshi jumped to fame when he was written at age 13 last November. In a debut with splashes This month, he hit the first ball he faced for six in the same place.
He showed brutal power against a battery of experienced international players, including Khan, Mohammed Siraj, Ishant Sharma and Washington Sundar.
The adolescent hit Sharma for three six and two in one and Club Bed Spinner sundar for two six and four to raise the fastest half century of this IPL of only 17 balls.
Suryavanshi ran to 94 when he hit the rapid player of Afghanistan, Karim Janat, for three six and three four in the first of Janat in the IPL, and raised the hundred against the great Khan.
“It was amazing,” said Rajasthan’s captain, Riyan Parag, about Suryavanshi. “We have spent two months with him (and) we have seen what he can do, but to see him do this against the world -class players that GT has, (i) I cannot express in words.”
Suryavanshi was throbbing by his partner Jaiswal while he celebrated, took off his helmet and raised his bat to recognize the applause of the local crowd. He also greeted his teammates on the bench with his bat.
Only the great Gayle of the Western Indies has hit an IPL one hundred in less balls, 30, and that was 12 years ago.
The rapid bowling player Prasidh Krishna finally clean, Suryavanshi, who went to another ovation standing and hugs teammates.
The left -handed surrounding and Jaiswal raised Rajasthan’s highest position for any WICKET in the IPL, and the adolescent eclipsed the Sanju Samson record of 10 Sixes in an IPL entry for an Indian batter.
“Batt with him (Jaiswal) gives me confidence because he stays very positive, (y) becomes easy to beat with him,” Suryavanshi said. He added that he does not notice much to the crowds to “concentrate on the ball.”
The Captain of Gujarat, Shubman Gill, made an aggressive 84 of 50 balls, while his opening partner Sai Sudharsan scored 39 to overcome Virat Kohli as the top scorer of the season with 456 races in nine games.
The couple added 93 races for the first 62-ball WICKET before Sudharsan faced Long-on in 11.
Gill looked well prepared for a century, but missed the low launch of Maheesh Theekshana and was caught in the long term.
Jos Buttler released in the overs of death with an undefeated 50 of 26 balls.
