London – The Russian captain of a load ship that collided with an American oil tanker Earlier this week, he appeared in a United Kingdom court on Saturday where he was arrested for the death of a crew member, who is missing and presumed dead.
Vladimir Motin, the master of the cargo ship with a flag of Portugal Solong, appeared in the Court of Hull magistrates after being accused of “homicide of serious negligence.”
They did not register for Motin and Motin will appear below in the Central Criminal Court, better known as Old Bailey, April 14.
Motin, 59, is from Primorsky, St. Petersburg. He was arrested in the northeast of England on Tuesday, one day after the collision with the MV Stena Immaculate, an oil tanker Fuel transport for airplanes for the US army In the North Sea.
The Crown Prosecutor’s Office has appointed the crew member allegedly died in the collision as the 38 -year -old Filipino National, Mark Angelo Pernia.
