Nottingham, England – The hopes of the Nottingham Forest Champions League received a blow after a 2-0 defeat against Brentford in the Premier League on Thursday.
Forest could have passed to third place in the classification with a victory, but remains in sixth place with four rounds of the season.
Kevin Schade opened the Brentford score in the city of the city in the 44th minute and Yane Wissa sealed the victory in 70.
Forest is behind the fifth Chelsea place in the goals difference.
The first five in the classification will be classified for the Champions League after the highest category of England received an additional place for the performance of its teams in Europe this season.
The battle to qualify remains open with only five points separating the third place Newcastle and Aston Villa in seventh.
