Minneapolis – The authorities arrested a 34 -year -old man on Thursday in relation to The fatal shootings Of three people in Minneapolis, and the city chief of the city said that another person has been killed the next day in retaliation.
The police have said that the four people killed and two other serious injuries in the multiple shootings were native Americans, and the authorities strongly suspect that the shootings were related to gang. However, police chief Brian O’Hara said during a press conference on Thursday that the authorities are still investigating the reasons behind the shootings.
The shootings shook a large indigenous community south of the center of Minneapolis. A 20 -year -old woman, a 17 -year -old boy and a 27 -year -old man were killed in Tuesday’s shootings, and a 28 -year -old man and a 20 -year -old woman were taken to a hospital with injuries that threaten life. A 30 -year -old man died in Wednesday’s shooting.
The first shooting took place just before midnight on Tuesday. O’Hara said it is “completely likely” that the second shooting with a single victim was an answer to the three deaths, and said someone else was responsible. A little more than one mile (1.6 kilometers) occurred around Wednesday’s on Wednesday on the outskirts of an apartment building that houses the Minneapolis offices of the Lake Nation Red tribe.
“But beyond that, I can’t speculate on a ongoing beef,” O’Hara said.
The police chief said the police believe that the shootings are related to gangs based on the “lived experience” of the people in the area.
