Spokane, Wash. – For now, the star guard of Lsu Flau’jae Johnson is leaving aside his rap career. And podcasting too.
Johnson is the NCAA Tournamentand helping Tigers win another national title.
“I am not focused on my music, I am not focused on my podcast, I am not focused on any of the things (that). I am focused on winning the national championship,” said Johnson. “Because if I won the National Championship, then I can concentrate on everything I want.”
That does not mean that the talents outside the Johnson court are not on display of a March madness. She raps in a Powerade advertising campaign that has often been shown throughout the tournament.
Johnson has been a music star since he appeared in “America’s Got Talent” in 2018 when he advanced to the quarterfinals of the television competition.
He released his first album, “Best of Both Worlds,” last year. He has also collaborated in a song with rapper Lil Wayne.
Johnson has said that he released his musical career in honor of his father, the late rapper Camoflauge.
Johnson also has a podcast, also called “Best of Both World”, where he interviews some of the biggest stars of the game, including episodes with Juju Watkins of USC and Paige Bueckers of Uconn, and generally folds into a variety of songs, from basketball to boyfriends.

The teams gathered in the NCAA tournament last year, where Bruins chief coach, Cori Close, saw first hand while Johnson was 7 for 11 from the field and dropped a double double of 24 points and 12 rebounds.
While Close is respected the ability of the guard with a basketball, he also congratulated what Johnson’s brand does for the sport.
“He talks about someone who has been excellent for the game. I really admire how he juggled with all the different things he does in life, much less on the court,” Close said. “I am a great pioneer: try to be, to grow the game, and I look at it. He is doing a great job and I just want to congratulate her for that, our game is better for it.”
Johnson has said that he is not disturbed by pressure situations, resorting to his days in “America’s Got Talent”.
“I feel that (with) pressure, breaking pipes or diamonds, and I like diamonds,” Johnson said before his performance in a program meeting version in 2023.
