New York – A woman faces multiple positions After she crashed In a family to walk in Brooklyn, killing a mother and her two children in what the mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, described as a “tragic accident of a proportion of Shakespeare.”
Miriam Yarimi was accused hours after the accident on Saturday afternoon with three positions from each of the negligent criminal homicide, homicide and second degree assault, as well as several other positions.
Police said Yarimi was driving with a suspended license and that additional charges indicated that he was accelerating and did not yield after stopping to a red light when he crashed with another vehicle and then to the family walking at the crosswalk of pedestrians.
“I will call it as it is. This was a horrible tragedy caused by someone who should not have been on the road,” said police commissioner Jessica Tisch to journalists in Crash Scene. “A mother and two young children killed. Another child fighting for her life. A family and a neighborhood were devastated.”
You couldn’t find a phone number for Yarimi. The calls to the Kings County courts were not answered and there was no information in the judicial system about who could be representing it.
Tisch said Yarimi’s rear audi reached a Toyota around 1 PM, both drivers had minor injuries, just like another adult and three children in the Toyota. Yarimi had to be extracted from his vehicle’s wreck after he turned.
The collision sent the Audi to the pedestrians, which were at the crossroads before the vehicle turned, the authorities said. The 35 -year -old woman and her 6 and 8 -year -old daughters were declared dead in the place, and the 4 -year -old boy was hospitalized in a critical condition.
“This is extremely worrying and painful, not only for New York City in general, but specifically for a very united community,” Adams said. “A mother who went to take a simple walk on a sunny day was beaten and killed. While we pray for their families and the whole community, the city cries this loss.”
