Antonio Brown detained after shooting outside the Adin Ross boxing event

Miami – Antonio Brown was briefly arrested by the police on Saturday after an altercation in which shots were shot out of a celebrity boxing event in Miami, according to the former star and video of the NFL published on social networks.

The Miami Police confirmed in a written statement that the officers responded to the area at 3 in the morning after receiving an alert of Shotspotter shots shooting system. The officer Kiara Delva, spokesman for the department, said the police interrogated several people, but did not arrest. No injuries were informed on the scene.

The investigation continues, said Delva, and could not confirm the names of anyone involved.

The video posted on social networks showed Brown involved in a fight with several people in the boxing event, which was presented by the popular Streamer Adin Ross. Apparently, he was seen holding a black gun while chasing someone. The shots could be heard outside the camera shortly after.

The additional video showed Brown, with his hands behind his back, being escorted from the place by an officer.

Brown posted on social networks that he had been “jumped by several people who tried to steal my jewels and cause me physical damage.”

“The police stopped me temporarily until they received my side from the story and then freed me. I went home that night and I was not arrested,” Brown wrote.

Brown’s statement did not mention the shots.

Brown played for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2010 to 2018, where it emerged as one of the main threats to receive NFL and twice led the league in reception yards. His career dismissed due to several problems in the field and off the field, including his contract that is canceled by the Oakland Raiders before the start of the 2019 season.
