Los Angeles – The famous actor Valerie Mahaffey, whose work on stage, cinema and television went from Shakespeare to the successful series of the 1990s “Northern Exposure”, died at 71 years after a battle against cancer, according to a statement published on Saturday by his publicist.
Mahaffey died Friday in Los Angeles, according to the publicist Jillian Roscoe.
“I have lost the love of my life, and the United States has lost one of its most endearing actresses. He will miss it,” said her husband, actor Joseph Kell, in a statement. Survivors also include their daughter, Alice Richards.
