Tampa, Florida – Travis Jankowski had a couple of hits, including RBI’s winner in the ninth entrance to Tampa Bay’s 3-2 victory over the Milwaukee brewers on Saturday after the first delays in the field climate at home in the history of the ray teams.
Jankowski connected a single to Trevor Megill to bring the rookie Kameron Misner home, who was walked by Grant Anderson (1-2) and stole the second.
The success could have produced a closed play on the plate, but the ball slipped under the glove of the left gardener Isaac Collins. Misner scored two of the three races of Tampa Bay.
An officer who passed with the puppies and the white socks before the Rays acquired it last month, Jankowski also gave Tampa Bay a 2-1 advantage with a sacrifice fly of the fourth entry.
