Los Angeles – Tony Gonsolin threw six strong entries on his return from Tommy John’s surgery, Mookie Betts led four races and Los Angeles Dodgers extended their victory streak to five with a 12-7 victory over the Miami Marlins on Wednesday.
Gonsolin, making his first beginning since August 18, 2023, gave three races and six hits, struck out nine and did not walk any in an effort of 77 lamps.
The Dodgers, who hit 17 hits, pushed an advantage of 4-3 to 8-3 in a period of four pitches in the sixth. Betts led a triple of two races from the Central field wall and Freddie Freeman continued with a two -run homer. Betts also described a third of three races with a two racing single.
Cal Quantrill (2-3) gave four races and six hits in 3 2/3 tickets to fall to 1-7 with an effectiveness of 8.22 in nine appearances against Los Angeles. Kyle Stowers pierced twice by Miami.
Max Muncy, who averaged 32 home runs a year in five full seasons since 2018-2023, led a fast ball from Quantrill 433 feet to the center in the second for his first home run of the season.
Muncy entered with an average .180 and four races promoted in 28 games. He also tripled in the seventh.
In the ninth, Stowers hit his second home run and Liam Hicks hit a three -run double at Yendrys Gomez, but Hernández made a diving stop of the line of the first base of Jesus by the first baseline and beat Sánchez to the bag to finish the game.
Teoscar Hernández de los Ángeles had three hits and is hitting .425 (17 for 40) with four home runs, six doubles, 15 ranges and nine races in their last nine games.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto (3-2, 1.06 Effectiveness) will begin the first game of the Dodgers series in Atlanta on Friday against Grant Homes (2-1, 4.50 effectiveness). Marlins open a series of three games on Friday against visiting athletics.
