Covington, Georgia – A Walmart employee shot and killed a co -worker inside a Georgia store and wounded a person outside Friday morning while the business was closed to the public, authorities said.
Employees worked inside the store in Covington, southeastern Atlanta, when the shooting occurred around 1:30 am, said Newton County Sheriff’s office.
The suspect was arrested in South Carolina on Friday morning, authorities said.
The department of the Sheriff identified the victims as “known” of the suspect, but the authorities did not immediately reveal more details of the shooting.
